Welbar
The Welbar originated Britain in 1941 when the Welsummer was crossed with the Barred Plymouth Rock. They are upright, active birds with well built bodies, broad, long backs and a full, well rounded breast. They are a well round breed good for eggs and meat. Plumage is silky. Welbars are extremely friendly easily handled, placid and docile. Welbars are autosexed which means you can tell the sex from birth.
